On Tuesday, April 26, 1967, a baby girl was born in Barnwell, South Carolina, to Mrs. Beatrice Frank and Mr. Heyward Frank Sr. She was named Alberta Frank, affectionately called “Dottie” to all who knew her. Dottie received her education in the local schools of Jacksonville Florida, graduating from Matthew W. Gilbert High School.
Dottie worked for many years and retired from both AT&T and Bank of America. She received Christ at an early age and was a patient and loving person who would give the shirt off of her back and then try to give you her shoes. She loved to cook and sing and opened her home and heart to everyone that she encountered.
Dottie was called home by the Master on Friday, July 11, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Mrs. Beatrice and Mr. Heyward Frank Sr, her brother, Mr. Heyward Frank Jr., and her sister Latrine Ronnette Frank.
She is survived by her siblings Inez Lovely (Henry), Glenn E. Frank, and Arline Y. Frank; Nieces and Nephews, Paula M. Lovely, Reginald R. Lovely, and Michelle A. Gist; Great Nephew and Niece Camryn Solomon and Zahria Lovely; Aunts and Uncles; Shirley Shields, Herman Phoenix, Mary Douglas, Betty Phoenix, Evelyn Frank and Best Friend since first grade Orajane Cannon; Special Friends Brent Quarterman and Lawrence Fisher, along with a host of other loving relatives and friends.
