Arthurene Denise Brown was born in Valdosta, Georgia to the late Elijah Waters and Mildred Waters. At birth she was adopted by the late Irene B. Wright. Arthurene, a beloved mother, and friend passed as a lifelong resident of Jacksonville, Florida at the age of 64. Here she was rooted in the community she called home. She attended the local schools where she not only learned new skills but also formed some lifelong friendships.
She held positions at premier grocery, an area Military base, and the community neighborhood store, William's grocery. She channeled her passion for mechanics into rebuilding and repairing lawn mowers, a skill she mastered with determination and ingenuity.
She will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. While we have loss a cherished soul, her light will continue to shine through those she touched. To those left to cherish her memories are her children: Adrian Moore (Kisa), Devaughn Moore, Willie Myers; Sister: Christine Sullivan, Brother: Larry Waters, a host of grandchildren and a great grand Daughter.
