Mrs. Betty Jean Pouncy was born February 14, 1948, in Live Oak, Florida to late George and Annie Bell Tompkins.
She was educated in the Suwannee County Florida Public School System.
She was preceded in death by seven brothers, and five sisters.
In the year of 1970, she married Charles E. Wilson, Sr. To this union, two children were born, Charles Wilson, Jr. and Avedon.
In in the year of 1978, she married Elder Finnie Pouncy. To this union, one child was born, Finnie Pouncy, Jr.
She departed this life on November 21, 2022, at 7:00 PM at St. Vincent Hospital in Jacksonville, Florida.
She leaves to cherish her memories her loving memories, Elder Finnie Pouncy; three loving children, Charles Pouncy, Avedon Wilson and Finnie Pouncy, Jr. (Crystal); four grandchildren, Keturah Pouncy, Kalisah Pouncy, Kaylah Pouncy and Kamiyah Pouncy; two brothers, Jerry Tompkins (Lovely Mae) of Orlando, Florida and Izell Tompkins of Live Oak, Florida; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
