Carlton Maurice Rogers, Jr. of Jacksonville, Florida died Monday July 13, 2020 at the age of 24. He was born November 7, 1995 in Jacksonville, Florida to Carlton and Nichol Rogers. Carlton gave his life to Christ on July 13, 2014.

Carlton was affectionally known to his friends and family as "Bubba" a nickname given to him by his grandmother, Veronica J. Lane, who proceeded him in death. Bubba attended the public schools in Duval County. Some of the things he enjoyed the most out of life was being a father to his children, fishing, praying and reading the bible.

Carlton is survived by his loving parents, Carlton and Nichol Rogers; Children, Cameron Camilla and Genesis; 3 sisters, Crystal Harvell, Carnisha Rogers and Marquitta Hart (Steven); 4 nieces, Cimone Harvell, Jurnee Johnson, Amari Hicks and Zeniya Smith; 2 nephews, Cayden Rogers and Jaden Ransom; Maternal Grandparents, the late Veronica J. Lane, Ernest and Shirley Harvell; Paternal grandparents, Joseph and ReSilvia Rogers; 4 Uncles, Bryan Wilson, Joe Rogers, Keith Rogers and Tony Rogers; his favorite Uncle, Shelton Rogers; 2 Aunts, Sylvia Meeks and Veronica White; his closest cousins, Markeith Rogers and Alonzo Meeks, Jr.; God brother, Donald Jones, Jr.; best friends, Jonquez Johnson and D'troy Jones; mother of his children, Brianna Palmer.
