Chavella Yvette Williams Andrews affectionately known as “Brown Sugar” to many began her life story, October 19, 1960. She was born to the union of Willie Williams Sr. and Verna Mae Brunson in Jacksonville, Florida.
Chavella, received her formal education in the Duval County Public School System and after graduation, she attended Jones College and Florida Community College of Jacksonville. She was employed by Florida Christian Health Care and Eagle Crest Nursing Home until she became disabled in 1992. Chavella was known by many for her witty personality and charismatic attitude, she was a charmer. To know her, was to love her and she was loved by many who knew her.
Chavella accepted Christ early in life and was baptized, so to God be the Glory. We know that on July 31st, when her name was called, she heard, “Well Done My Good and Faithful Servant.” She was preceded in death by her Parents, Willie Williams Sr., Verna Mae (John) Brunson; Brother, Willie Williams Jr; Sister, Shelia Williams.
