Christina Scott

On the most pleasant day of the year, June 30th, 1979, a star was born in San Francisco California.  That star, Christina Scott was born to Eddie and Lubirta Scott.  Throughout the years, she was affectionately nicknamed Chrissy, Chris, Poca, and Mama Scott to her battle buddies.  On July 24, 2020, she passed away.

Christina was educated at Paxon High School in Jacksonville, Florida.  Christina then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Supervision and Management.  She later joined the military and was promoted to Staff Sergeant E6, with plans to continue her education to earn a Master’s Degree.

Christina will always be remembered as one of the kindest, most generous, coolest, most turnt, funniest, most loving, flirtatious, most beautiful and charismatic person you would have ever met. She will be sorely missed by all. 

Christina was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Linda Giles; brother, Jack Scott.

She leaves behind to mourn: Children, LaDasia Thompson, Alanna Thompson and Ariel Thompson; Grandchildren, Carter Jones “Toota Butt” Santiago Evans and Chosen Thompson;  Sisters, Shirley Brown(Roosevelt), Bernice Howard, Evelyn Graham (Hershey) and Shelly Mixon (Kanissai), Brothers, Norris Godbolt, Matthew Giles, Dewayne Giles, Antoine Scott (Bianca) along with a host of other beloved relatives and friends.
