Columbus went home to be with the Lord on January 17, 2021, having lived a full life. Columbus was born to Willie and Martha Parker on August 12, 1933 in Miccosukee, Florida. He enjoyed his family, cooking, eating, Western TV shows and helping people.
Columbus worked at Jones-Chambliss Meat company as a 1st class butcher for 20 years until it closed. After working briefly at other jobs, he decided to take the entrepreneur route and started a lawn service business that he was successful with for 40 years until his passing.
Columbus was preceded in death by his parents Willie and Martha Parker, brothers Willie Jr., Marvin, Robert (R.J.), sister, Sally, Emma and sons Columbus Parker and Christopher Parker.
Columbus leaves to mourn his wife of 53 years Coralene Parker; sons William Parker, Stanley Parker (Janice), Reginald Parker and daughters; Beverly Walker, Cheryl Parker, Eureka Young and sister Beatrice Vann; 26 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great grandchildren, a host nieces, nephews, spiritual family members and friends.
