Curtis Allen Brown

Mr. Curtis Allen Brown was born on May 8, 1953 to Queen and Sylvester Brown in Jacksonville, Florida.  He was raised and educated in Palm Beach and Duval County Public Schools, graduating from Paxon High School-Class of 1971.  He later served in the United States Army from June 1975 until October 1979 as an ADA Crew Leader.    

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Rayfield, Cecil and Waymond.  On February 15, 2019 he slept away into the arms of Jesus.  He leaves to mourn his children,  Curtis Vashon Brown (Lashaun), Jocelyn La-Jeanette Samuels and Curtisha LaTrell Brown;  grandchildren, Shambria Diane Simmons, Christian Xavier Brown, Chance Mateo Brown, Cameron Jameel Brown, Lailah Amondria Mills, Vashon Curtis Brown, Jayvin Leonard Samuel, Jordan Pierre Burroughs and Joshua Cursean Burroughs; great-grandchild, Kingston Cade Brown; sisters Willie Mae Brown and Ellen Faye Jackson (Donald), Willie Mae Brown and Ella Mae Gordon; brothers, Emmitt (Berniece) and James Brown; sister-in-law, Mary Brown; a number of other relatives and friends.
