David Armstrong III

David Armstrong, III, affectionately known as Pop or Pappy was born February 15, 1964 to the union of David Armstrong, Jr. and Marie Moody Armstrong.  David was the fifth of seven children and a native of Jacksonville, Florida.

David attended the Public Schools of Duval County then briefly served in the U.S. Army in which afterwards he was employed by several different companies.  David was full of life, he loved his family and was a Jacksonville Jaguar and Oakland Raiders now known as Las Vegas Raiders fan.  He was a loving, generous person with a genuine heart and was loved by all whom knew him and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.  His time is done here on earth.

David departed this life on March 8, 2023.  He was preceded in death by his father, David Armstrong, Jr.; his brother, Rodney; his nephew, Tyrone Jackson, III; his maternal and paternal grandparents; a host of several aunts and uncles.  

He leaves to mourn and cherish his memories, his loving son, Lucious Baker (Terese) of Goodyear, AZ; mother, Marie; brothers, Douglas and Alvin; sisters, Marilyn (Keith) of Columbus, GA, Beverly and Cherilyn; grandson, Lucious, Jr.; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; a host of other relatives and sorrowing friends.
