Deborah Rena Standberry, affectionately known as 'DeeDee' was born on June 13, 1965 to Monroe and Mattie Ruth Standberry in Jacksonville, FL.
From a small child, DeeDee learned to worship and serve Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior as a member of Faust Temple Church of God in Christ.
DeeDee graduated from Jean Ribault Senior High School in 1983, she went on to study at Florida A&M University.
Upon returning to Jacksonville, she was employed for many years by American Express and then CIT before finding her passion and true calling of helping people realize their dream of homeownership; excelling as a Realtor with Atrium Realty.
DeeDee was a member of Titus Harvest Dome Church under the leadership of Apostle Rodney J. Washington, Sr. for many years before serving Bishop George L. Davis at Faith Christian Center (now Impact Church) where she graduated from FCC's Bible Training Center with certification in Leadership Development. At the time of her passing, DeeDee was serving faithfully at Christ Resurrection Power Assembly (CREPA), led by Bishop Abiola Idowu.
DeeDee’s greatest joy was being a mother to her beloved son, Christopher.
Deborah’s beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her family and friends.
She was predeceased by her father, Monroe Standberry, Sr. and her mother, Mattie Ruth Standberry. She is survived by her cherished son, Christopher. Her sister, Earlene Clark, sister, Ethel Goodman (Jesse); sister Sylvia Levitt; sister, Harriett Bell, brother, Clarence Standberry (Shelia); brother, Monroe Standberry, Jr.; sister, Dana Standberry. Her aunt: Lula Cross. Her uncle, Herbert Cross, Sr. Her nieces, Carmen Crosby, Davina Cason (Monta), Darissa Parrott, Clarissa Valentine, Portia Chance (Terry), Tanisha Standberry, Shelby Levitt, Brianna Standberry, Azha Valentine and Khalia Chance. Her nephews, David Clark, David Parrott, Jr., Clyde Levitt, Jr., Aaron Standberry, Terry Chance, Jr., Monta Cason III, Tristan Chance and Makari Cason; a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends and colleagues.
