Douglas Leroy Siplin was born on September 5, 1952, to Louis Charles Siplin, Sr. and Katherine. He was a hardworking man who took pride in his craft as a carpenter and spent many years helping his father with landscaping.
Douglas was a quiet, humble, and loving man who always put family first. He was the proud father of Galen Lenard Richardson (Theresa Richardson) and Monique Siplin (Roger Jackson, II), and a devoted grandfather to Ashley Hinton, Darian Moore, Gaylen Moore, Jailynn Richardson, Mia Richardson, Corey Richardson, Roger Jackson, III, and Keyonna Jackson. He was also blessed with two precious great-grandchildren, Zaria Hinton and Antonio Hinton, Jr.
He shared a close bond with his sisters — Jackie Siplin and Joan Siplin — brother - Louis Siplin - and was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Jean.
