Mr. McCall was born on December 14th, 1922 in Glendale, OH and moved to Jacksonville, FL shortly thereafter. He attended Stanton High School and went on to study at Howard University before he joined the United States Army and served in WWII where he received an American Service Award and a European/African/Middle Eastern Service Medal. After his honorable discharge the family relocated to New York and then to New Jersey where he spent most of his life.
He was a Forman with American Cyanamid and retired after 37 years and moved back to Jacksonville, FL to enjoy his retirement. He then married Queen Mitchell McCall in 2002 and resided in St. Augustine, Florida for the remainder of his life.
George T. McCall Jr. was predeceased by his wife of 56 years, Frankie J. McCall and two daughters, Linda and Karen. He is survived by his wife Queen Mitchell McCall, his daughter Valerie, son George III and daughter-in-law Renay. He was also survived by step daughter, Cynthia and husband William and survived by Grandchildren Joseph, Stacey, Kisha, Tara, Lisa, and Brian and 11 Great-Grandchildren.
Mr. McCall was a man that loved The Lord and his Family and touched the hearts of many during his lifetime. He will be deeply missed.
