Gloria Ann Washington was born September 16, 1945 in Jacksonville, Florida to Jimmie Johnson and Helen Mae Johnson. She attended the local schools of Duval County, graduating from Stanton High School class of 1963. Gloria worked for Challenge Enterprises at NAS Jacksonville for many years.
Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, Helen Mae Johnson and Jimmie Johnson; son Moses (Stanky) Woods; brothers, Kenneth and Gerald Jonson; sister, Kathy James.
Gloria is survived by her daughters, Michelle Williams (James) and Bresha Woods; son, Edwin Woods; grandchildren, Shantell Woods, Bernikqua Latson, Genika Woods, Ashanti Woods, Thomas Woods, Malcom Woods, Ali Perkins, Jacobe Williams, Terrell Latson, Shantesa Slappey, Artius Garvey and William Jones; great grandchildren, Jeremani Woods, Ka'li Anderson, Marcella Williams and Kintrell Walker, Jeremy Woods, Jr., Ali Perkins, Jr., Travis Ware, Jacobe Williams, Jr., King Copeland, De'on Clark and Da'mari Clark; sisters, Sherrie Jackson (Richard), Shirley Johnson, Deborah Johnson, Felicia Johnson and Antionette Johnson; brothers, Michael Johnson and Eric Johnson (Kalimah).
