Harold Arnett Jones was the first-born son to Wilfred Carlton and Erma Denefield Jones on May 15, 1947.
He attended and graduated from Pine Forest Community School in Callahan, Florida in 1966. He matriculated to the Job Corps in Spokane, Washington where he received certification in horticulture.
Harold was employed and retired from the Hodges Poultry Farm of Callahan.
Harold was married to Mary Anne Bryant Jones who preceded him in death. At an early age, Harold confessed Christ and was baptized at Bethel A.M.E. Church of Callahan. Later in life, Rodney Lewis introduced him to the Jehovah’s Witness, where he was baptized.
He often spoke about his spiritual brother Cecil Dasher who made certain that his needs were taken care of. Harold would end all conversations with this assurance, “Jehovah Got Me”.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents and the following siblings, Greta Hortense Jones, Wade Hampton Jones, Beverly Jones Hill and Carlton Geraud Jones.
He is survived by his siblings Barabara Ann Bacon, Clinton Lavert (Gloria) Jones, Ada Cecelia Jones (Vincent) Norman, Broadus Maurice (Zelda) Jones, Wilfred Erwin (Deborah) Jones, Andrea Raynett (Benard) Bradley; Stepchildren Carol Bryant, Stephanie Bryant, Ron Melton, and Shad Melton; Sister-in-law Karen Jones and brother-in-law Walter Hill; Aunts Ethelrine Coakley and Gail Denefield; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
