On November 14th of 1969, Mr. Harry Lee Stevenson was born to the late Issach, Sr. And Mary Cleckley-Stevenson in Orangeburg, S.C. It was in Orangeburg that he attended local Schools.
Before leaving South Carolina, he met the love of his life over 36 years ago Lynette Hayward-Stevenson. Not long after he relocated to Jacksonville, Florida to later be joined together in Holy Matrimony. To this union, two children were born: Brittney and Courtney Hayward.
After arriving in Jacksonville, Harry became employed by the Jacksonville Shipyard. He later gained employment for over 20 years with Simmons Bedding Company. Lastly, working with Hilex Poly A Novolox Brand Company. Around town Harry had the signature trademark of “PLAYBOY and I TRUST GOD” where he decorated all of his automobiles and embellished this around his home. Indeed, he was loved by many and one of a kind.
He is proceeded in death by his parents; brothers: Issach Jr. And John Stevenson; Sister: Mary Stevenson.
Harry leaves to cherish his most fond memories to his loving and devoted wife, Lynette; daughters, Brittney and Courtney; son, Stephon Frazier; Grandchildren, Ca’Niah Wilson, Ja’Shyah and Ja’Miah Dobson; Mother-in-Law, Peggy Hayward; Brothers, Abraham and Tyrone Stevenson; Sisters, Eartha (Walter) Howard, Peachie (Andrew) Banks, Atonja Stevenson and April (Frank) Smith; Brother-in-Law, Lorenzo Hayward; Sister-in-Law, Kathy Stevenson; a host of other relatives and sorrowing friends.
