Jeanette M. Odoms was born on March 16, 1958, to her parents Doris King and Burnell Sumpter in Jacksonville, Florida.
Jeanette attended William M. Raines High School where she received her high school diploma. Jeanette was a School Bus Driver in Duval County for over 25 plus years.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her (mother) Doris King; (adopted mother) Ruby Wilkerson; (sister) Chiquita Williams; (son) Gary R. Adams, Jr.; (Grandson) James P. Ralph Moultrie; (Granddaughter) Ji’mya T. Denise Adams; (Grandparents) Alice Sumpter and John Sumpter, Sr.
She leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband, Jim H. Odoms; Daughter, Dynisha Kirkland (Tavares Kirkland); Sons, James Moultrie, Ray Griffin and Shakar Holmes; (Grandchildren) Tameka Moultrie, Asia’nae Mathis and Ja’brae Kirkland; a host of other grandchildren; Great grands, Daja’nae, De’Vonna and Da’Riyah Jackson; a host of other great grands Best friends, Majorie Howard and Linda Walker; a host of friends and family.
Jeanette was a devoted and loving wife, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. Jeanette has always lived her life to the fullest. She was always happy, outgoing and a very outspoken person. Jeanette was always the life of the party. She left an impression on anyone she met. Jeanette was a people's person. She loved the good, bad, and ugly in a person. Jeanette was a beautiful soul that will truly be missed and loved.
