Joan K. Jackson

Joan K. Jackson was born June 4, 1945 to Joseph and Miley Jackson.  She attended the local schools of Duval County, graduating from New Stanton High School. 

Joan was a member of West Friendship Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Dr. Timothy L. Cole, Sr.  She served faithfully in the choir until her health failed.  Joan was employed with University Hospital until she retired.  She was a very kind and loving person who will be missed by all who knew her.  

Joan was preceded in death by her son, Alton Jackson.

She is survived by her sons, Ernest and Reginald Jackson; three grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two sisters and one brother; a host of nieces, nephews and many sorrowing friends.
