Kaleb Floyd Obituary

Kaleb was born December 22, 2004, in Duval County, Jacksonville, Florida to Renata Herring and Kirk Floyd. The second oldest child, affectionately called “KK” by his family, whom he loved dearly.

Kaleb was obtaining his education in the public schools of Duval County. He was a junior at First Coast High School. On May 11, 2014, he confessed Christ as his personal Savior and joined Mt. Bethel Baptist Church under the leadership of his grandfather, Rev. Dr. Robert E. Herring, Sr.

Kaleb was a loving son and best friend to his parents, sisters, and family. His love and loyalty knew no limitations. His smile could light up a room and his charisma left a lasting impression on all with whom he came in contact.

Kaleb had a passion for business. He aspired to pursue a career in logistics with the goal to become an entrepreneur. He had an uncanny ability to visualize a situation, devise a plan, master a solution, and obtained a profit. Although he may be absent in body, he will live forever in our hearts.

His Grandfather, Isaiah Floyd, preceded him in death. Left behind to share precious memories are his parents, Renata and Chad (Pops) Franck, and Kirk (Dad) Floyd. His sisters, Ramiah Herring (fiancé, Justin Reid), Ryleigh Floyd, Reagan, and Reign Franck. Grandparents: Dr. Robert and Lady Bessie Herring, Sr.; Rhonda Floyd; Willie Franck and Germain Johns. Aunts: Robin Herring-Lee, Robretta (Al) Campbell; Rachel Herring-Flash; NaKisha Floyd, Honesty (Michael) Pugh, Wilnide (Luke) Saintil, Taquila Nelson (Abi) Osunkoya; uncles: Rev. Robert (Joy) Herring II, Romero Lee, Kris Floyd, Jeff (Yadeline) Franck and Christopher Flash; a host of great aunts and uncles, cousins, godmother, Alisha Holloway, godbrothers; Tyrone & Tyrek Williams, spiritual mothers; Sister Bervinda Mincey and Sister Lynette Greene and many sorrowing friends.
