Karen Anita Mintz

Karen Anita Mintz was born June 8, 1960 in Lake City, Florida to the late Juanita Stoutamire and Frankie Lee Jackson, and devoted Step-father, Robert Stoutamire, Sr. (Annie).
 

Karen graduated from Baker County High School in Macclenny, Florida she worked as a professional cook for over 25 years and 6 years at City Thrift. Karen battled Pancreatic Cancer for 3 years and witnessed the birth of her first grandchild. She will always be loved and cherished by her daughter, Lindsey and grand-daughter, Leilani.
 

She was preceded in death is her husband, Joseph Perez Mintz and sister, Helen Yvonne More.


Mrs. Mintz was called home on March 22, 2020 at  St. Vincent Medical Center of Jacksonville, Florida.
 

She leaves to cherish her loving memories her daughter, Lindsey Mintz (Delvonte), grand-daughter, Leilani Glover; son/nephew, Alex (Bugster) Rhodes; godson, Tommy (Dudda) Burroughs, II; sisters, Sandra Rhodes (Leroy), Lutricia Johnson, Robin Eaddy (Tony), Katie Day(Ronald) and Sandra McIntosh (EL); brothers, Eric Stoutamire, Sr., Adrian Jackson (Tina), Patrick Stoutamire (Annquetta), Robert Stoutamire (Resa) and Tyron Jackson; nieces, Rhonda Jones (Gerald), Shachana Jackson (Brandon), Sheocia Wynn (Kevin), Sheanta Anderson (Wil), Elyshia (Smiley) Stoutamire, Jade Jackson, Danyell Scurry and Crystal Dell; nephews, Michael Rhodes, Sr., Mandel Rhodes (Jacqueline), Johnnie (Dank a Doodle) Addison, 3, Paul (PJ) Coger, Tarrez Seabrooks, Justin (Jig) Farmer, Eric Stoutamire, Jr. (Nia Janae) and Ad' Mire Hall; a host of great nieces and nephews; devoted longtime friends, Teresa Burroughs (Tommy), Patricia Wilcox, Shirley Jackson, Ms. Joyce, Carolyn Coleman and Tami Anne Slocum.
