Kenneth Lavern Cooper, affectionately known as "Kenny," "Coop," and "Sockman" was born on February 6, 1956, to Minnie L. Cooper and the late John Adkins in Jacksonville, Florida.
Kenneth was educated in the local Public Schools of Duval County and worked in a variety of occupations before he retired.
Kenny was a man of few words, but his actions and deeds spoke volume, as he was a protector of his family.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his sister, Brenda Bellamy; Nieces, Nicole Harrington and Valarie Barnes.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his children, Kenneth and Kenadia Griffin; Mother, Minnie L. Cooper; Siblings, Patricia Norris (Nehemiah), Susan Graham, Willie Hardge, Jr., Rosa Howell, Rosalyn Hardge and LaTonya Whitfield (Marquan); Grand Children, Emmanuel Griffin, Imani Griffin, Kayla Jackson, Laila Griffin and A’Niyah Carracter; Nieces, Kenyatta Armstrong, Chavon Johnson (Roderick), Tiffany Bogins (Darnell), Ronnisha Jerido, Eugenia Bowman and Renekia Williams; Nephews, Garrick Brooks (Nachelle), James Sykes, JaRon Howell, LaQuan Howell (Tonecia), Brian Armstrong, Javon Howell, Everette Walden, Marquan Whitfield, Jr.; close dear friend Great Nephew, Corey Harrington; a host of other relatives and many sorrowing friends.
