Beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, passed away peacefully April 7, 2021 in Jacksonville, Florida. Born October 4, 1947 in Jacksonville, Florida. Married to Muriel Hollimon October 6, 1967 in Panama, Born to Resedene Hollimon and Elizabeth Hollimon Simpkins preceded him in death.
Leon graduated from New Stanton Senior High School in 1965. Serving in the US Army for 26 years, enlisted from 1966 till 1992. He was employed with First Coast Security from 2008 till 2021. He was also employed for Eurest Dining Services in the year of 2008.
He leaves to cherish his memories to his Stepmother Rosa Lee Hollimon, brother Wallace & Mary Hollimon, Frederick Colorado, Fred Hollimon & Patricia Hollimon, Jacksonville, Florida, Louis Sapp, Veronica Sapp Sister, Atosha Hill & Jimmy Hill, Stepsisters Debra, Barbara, and Janita, Stepbrother Rickey Bolton sons Anthony Hollimon (Yolanda), Leon Hollimon Jr., Darrell Muir. Daughters, Nikki Proctor (Charles) Nilka, Goodwin (Maurice) and Kyla Levi, Austria, 20 grandkids and 1 great grand, and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, other family relatives and friends.
