Leonard Darnell Crawl

Darnell was born June 24, 1971 in Atlanta Georgia to Mildred Williams and Alfred Crawl, Sr.   He graduated from Therrell High School, class of 1989.

Darnell joined the US Navy in 1989 and served his country until 1996.

They met and later married his wife on February 10, 1993 in Virginia Beach.  

Darnell furthered his education by earning a Degree in Business Management from University of Phoenix 2010.

Darnell worked as a Team Manager for CIT Financial Group for 15 years.

Darrell enjoyed watching wrestling, movies, reading and spending time with his family.

Darnell was ordained into ministry at Faith House of Refuge, where he served faithfully in addition to offering help to other organizations. One of Darnell‘s many phrases include: “How much he loves his Family and Beautiful Wife.”    “I was just thinking about you!”     “Who loves you baby?”         “Dem Crawls”.

Darnell passed away at his home in Jacksonville, Florida on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at the age of 50.

Darnell was predeceased by his father, Alfred Crawl, Sr.

Darnell is survived by his Mother, Mildred Williams; his loving wife of 28 years, Reshana Crawl; Daughters, Jasmyn Thompson and Bianca Crawl; Son, Xavier Crawl; Granddaughter, Leia Crawl; Brothers, Trent Crawl, Alfred Crawl, Jr. and Keith Rivers; Sisters, Valerie Stanley and Gwendolyn Crawl; a host of loving nieces, nephews and other relatives.
