Lucille Davenport was born on August 9, 1943, in Jacksonville, Florida to the late Norman Davenport and Ruth Norris.
A time to Rend
After receiving her education in the local school system of Duval County, she had many jobs starting out until she found her passion at the Jacksonville International Airport, where she stayed and worked for over 30+ years until her retirement.
A time to serve
At a young age Lucille accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized at Mount Bethel Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. S A Thomas, where she was a member for years. She later joined Living the word Christian Church under the leadership of Reverend Michael McCoy.
A time to love
She was a loving mother to three sons and a grandmother, sister aunt and a friend too many.
A time to Die
On December 22, 2025, God sent his angel to pick one of his brightest flowers from the garden on earth
A time to mourn
Cherished memories will remain in the hearts of all of her loved ones, her devoted and loving children, Anthony Robinson, Sr. and Christopher Robinson, Sr. both of Jacksonville, Florida; five grandsons, Anthony Robinson, Jr., Christopher Robinson, Jr., Tahn Stewart, Brandon Hardaman and Jacoby Robinson (Afton); three granddaughters, Derricka Johnston(Phil), Meonte Livingston and Omonie Tipton; a host of great grandchildren all of Jacksonville, Florida; one sister, Barbara Barnes; five brothers, Russell Wilson (Angie), Eddie Norris, Ernest Norris (Tiffany), James Norris all of Jacksonville, Florida and Zerney Wilson (Annette) of White Oak, Georgia; a host of nieces, nephews cousins and friends amongst them, Special niece, Mrs. Tamika Milton and her Friends Forever, Mr. Paul Jones, Mr. Clyde, Hartley, Ms. Ethel Lowe, and Ms. Helen Thompson.
She was proceeded in death by her son, Rodrick Robinson; Two sisters, Eva Dudley and Brenda Shaw; Two brothers, Ronald Wilson and Herbert Norris.
