Mary Agnes Cross was born April 19, 1932, in Washington, GA to the late Pete Sim and Elizabeth Green.
She moved to the eastside of Jacksonville, Florida in the late 1970’s where she became the “Honey Dripper Lady.”
Mary retired from National Linen Services after 35 years of dedicated services. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Oakland for over 40 years where she served faithfully in the choir.
She was preceded in death by her sons, Arthur Brooks and Reginald Jones; granddaughter, Amber Brown. Mary departed this life on Sunday, June 26, 2022.
Mary leaves to cherish her memories her loving and devoted daughters, Linda Brooks, Renee Wayne and Annette Pryor; son, Stephen Pryor; 17 grand children, Shamikia, Anthony, Leon, Florence (Adrain),Necolle, Michelle, Danielle, Arthurshawntelle, Arthur, Steve, Santisha, Andrew, Cynthia, Leo, Lafelacio, Melody, Anthony and Melissa; 43 great grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; cousin, Rev. E. I. Norman; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and many sorrowing friends.
