Nathan Coleman Obituary

Nathan Darnell Coleman, 43 years young, was born on March 21, 1983, in Memphis, Tennessee to Tony and Annice Coleman.

As the youngest child of a father who served in the United States Navy, military life took him across many cities, landing in Jacksonville, Florida; where he planted his roots. He received his education through the Duval County Public School System.

Nathan was loved so dearly by his mama, daddy, siblings, aunties, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was so funny, outgoing, and his personality was as big & tall as his 6'3" stature. Nathan was very smart, driven, and hard-working. He loved to provide for his only son, Isaiah Coleman. One of his favorite past-times was working the Jacksonville Jaguars football games at the Everbank stadium because he loved the Jacksonville Jaguars.

At a young age, Nathan accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal saviour. He loved riding the Trinity Baptist church bus that would come every Sunday to pick him and his siblings up. Nathan was a faithful believer in His Heavenly Father and attended church when he could until his health began to decline, and he would be up early to attend Jesus People Living Work Church on the Sunday before the Lord called him home. Nathan transitioned from this life on Tuesday, June 16, 2026.

Nathan was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather and grandmother, Eddie and Marie Evans; paternal grandparents, Willie and Annie Mae Coleman; his Auntie, Alean Byrd and Auntie AB Leggs; his uncles, Eddie, Jr., Jimmie Lee, Earl, Herbert, Marzette and Uncle Clarence Leggs.

He leaves to cherish his precious memory, his son, Isaiah; his beloved mother and best friend Annice Coleman; devoted father, Tony Coleman (Ava); brothers, Tony Coleman, Jr. (Souchinda), Sean Brown, and Antwann Evans (Christine); sisters Shonta' Watson (David), Toni Brown (Eric, Sr.), Latasha Coleman and Ani Coleman.

He is also lovingly remembered by 9 nephews, Keshon, Jylan, David, Jr., Donnell, Eric Jr., Evan, Antwann Jr., Antravious, Daylen, and Damoni; 10 nieces, Taryn, Ashya, Jachanti, Janiah, Dameyana, Aaliyah, Dasia, Tiarri, and Leioni; 7 Great nieces and nephews, Keshon, Jr., Peyton, Kimora, Noah, and Baby Jylan.

Nathan leaves behind his loving aunties, Annette Granger and Helen Allen, Codella "CD" Banyard, Essie Tucker, and Carolyn Johnson (Robert); uncles, Larry Evans, Arthur Lee Evans, and Joel Evans; his favorite cousins, Chantina Black, Seneca Black, Ephonious King, and Trisha Adams (Marion), along with a host of other relatives and dear friends.
