Pastor Diane Grant Obituary

Pastor Diane Lenora Grant was born in Yonkers, New York on December 7, 1956 to Leon and Nora Lee Addison. She was called from labor to refreshment on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at the age of 62.

After the untimely death of her parents, Diane move to Jacksonville, Florida to be raised by relatives at the age of 7. She attended the Duval County Public Schools and graduated from William M. Raines High school in 1974.

After graduating Diane entered into the workforce, she started her career with Blue Cross Blue Shield, later moving on to University Hospital, and settling with the United States Post Office where she has served 34 years. Diane served as a supervisor and was a highly decorated employee receiving awards and honors.  These Awards included, The Loan Executive for the Postal Service and the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) for charitable giving for non-profit organizations. She also was honored at the White House, for her exceptional performance and outstanding dedication in 2003 and 2004.

In 1993, God placed strongly upon her heart to reach out in prayer to those that were hurting and troubled from all walks of life. Diane heard the call of God and was licensed as an Evangelist at West Jacksonville COGIC (WJAX) in 1999.  She accepted the call in 2010 as one of God’s end time Prophets and was elevated to the office of Pastor. She stepped out by faith and started Life-Line Ministries. God increased her vision and she later birthed “Kingdom Lifeline Ministry, Inc. in 2012. God allowed Diane, many opportunities to share her testimony and minister to hundreds of men and women. Her ministry sent her to the neighborhoods and areas of Jacksonville where communities were hurting and hungry for a change in their lives. Diane earned her Associates Degree in Evangelism and completed various certificate courses from Truth Bible University. Diane was a faithful member of One Church of Jacksonville under Archbishop Leonard and Bishop Carolyn Love. She also was an active partner of Sisters’ United for the Journey Organization. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Nora Lee Addison, brother, Kenneth Addison (Winona); grandmother, Hallie Medlock; aunts, Margaret Shaw and Inez Carter; uncle, Clarence Medlock; cousins James Shaw and Tony Stevens. 

She leaves to cherish her memory and legacy, husband, Anthony Grant; son, C’Shaun Addison; daughters, Kenyata Addison and Brandie Ludaway (Marvin); niece, Paloma Addison; 9 grandchildren, Deshawn McCray, Jamia Herring, LaShawna Addison, Jonecia Herring, Keishawn Addison, Marvis Addison, Samuel Fields, Bre’el Moody and Kemari Hamilton; 5 great grandchildren, Rickai Thomas, Anthony Washington, Abrion Price Jr., Jakai Biggins and Kiari Addison; Spiritual daughters, Jada Wright-Greene, Nikki Holland; spiritual son, Darryl Wright-Greene, along with a host of cousins, great nephews, great niece, devoted friends and co-workers.
