Phillip Anthony Kerr, 58 years old, was born on December 28, 1967 in Christiana Manchester, Jamaica to Claudette Roper Cunningham and the late Hugh Kerr.
As a child, Phillip started his education at Kilsyth Primary and Infant School, Edwin Allen High School and went on to further his education at Bethlehem Teachers College and University of the West Indies Jamaica.
Phillip was loved by many people. He was known for his spirit, great insight, and dedication to teaching Math across all levels. He’s been a mentor to many and always encouraged the tenets of deep thinking and spirituality. He taught in Jamaica, New York, and Florida in a period of nearly 36 years. He stopped teaching in October, 2025.
Phillip Kerr was devoted to spirituality and joined Ausar Auset Society International under the leadership of Shekhem Ur Shekhem Ra Un Nefer Amen in June, 2010. He was in the priesthood, taught Math at Kamit Preparatory Institute and made ginger beer and bean soup for services.
Phillip transitioned from this life on April 22, 2026. He was preceded by death by his father Hugh Kerr, and his brother Carlton Brown.
He leaves to cherish his precious memory, his mother Claudette Roper Cunningham, his children Timoi Mtume Kerr (mother is Natalie Henningham); Zion Sheronica Kerr (mother is Keitha Gail Martin Kerr); AungKsaKhu Maat SiaMaat, S-nemeh Khu Amen SiaMaat, and Maa Sen Khnem SiaMaat (mother is Lisette Britt/Sen Tchaasu-t Abek Ki-t); his grandchild Andreas Nathaniel Kerr, his brothers Russell Brown, Patrick Brown, and Phillip Kerr and his only sister Patricia Brown. He is also lovingly remembered by his nieces Shadae Brown, Ariana Brown, and Rasheeda Brown and his nephews Kessari Brown and Liam Brown, and uncle Martin Clarke, many family, friends, and his students.
He also leaves behind his Ausar Auset Society International family who hold him in high esteem.
