Ronald Keith Grant was born April 29, 1961, in Rocky Mount, North Carolina to the late Leroy and Ruth Grant. He transitioned to eternal rest on June 10, 2020.

The Grant family relocated to Washington D.C. in pursuit of better opportunities. He was a proud graduate of Bladensburg High School in Prince George's County, Maryland in 1979. He had a joyful and fun-filled childhood growing up in the DMV suburbs of Capitol Heights, Maryland surrounded by many close neighborhood friends many of whom remain today. He attended Greater Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Washington, D.C.

Ronald joined the United States Marine Corps and was stationed at Camp LeJeune in North Carolina. He guarded the Naval Commandant at 8th and I after completing the prestigious Yankee White program. During his service, he traveled abroad to Lebanon, Guam, Japan and many other countries. He served his country well and retired with an honorable discharge.

He was a dedicated employee and manager of ADT Security Services for over 25 years where he demonstrated a commitment to the vision and mission of the organization, contributed to ADT’s continued success and most importantly helped save lives. He was proud of his career at ADT and always treated his colleagues with warmth. Keydro was an avid sports fan, and always loved his hometown team, the Washington Redskins. He truly was a compassionate and well loved gentleman.
