Sandra Atkinson Hopkins peacefully gained her wings on July 29, 2023, with her family by her side. Sandra was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose foundation was anchored in the Lord.
Sandra was born in Harnett County, North Carolina to the late David and Sallie Atkinson. After a blissful 90-day courtship, Sandra married Steve Hopkins her husband of 41 years; the original 90-Day Fiancé, Air Force edition. Sandra will be lovingly remembered by her husband Steve Hopkins; children, Sedrick (Dora) Hopkins, Stephanie (Adrian) Concepcion; grandchild, Joshua Concepcion; siblings, Mary Wright, Eva Roper, Alvin (Doris) Atkinson, Sallie Taylor, Clarence (Clara) Atkinson, Larry Atkinson, James (Brenda) Atkinson, Danny Atkinson, Donald (Deborah) Atkinson, Alice McClamb, Avon (Tessa) Atkinson; and numerous nieces, nephews of whom she treasured dearly.
Sandra was predeceased by her parents, David and Sallie; siblings, Robert, David, Jonathan, Lenora, Helen and Diane.
Sandra loved spending time in the kitchen, creating delicious treats especially her famous Honey Bun and Strawberry cakes; not to forget the much-requested chicken salad.
Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
