Shawnta Lamont Flores

Shawnta “Shawn” Lamont Flores, Sr. was born on November 18, 1973 in Yuma, Arizona. Shawn departed this life on Friday, July 24, 2020 in Jacksonville, Florida. Shawn was proceeded in death by his loving mother, Gloria Fuller, his precious sister, Michel’le Fuller, grandparents, John B. Fuller, Isaias, Sr. and Evagelina Gonzales. Shawn attended local schools in Jacksonville, Florida. Shawn accepted Jesus Christ as his personal savior many years ago.

Shawn was a strong man with a big heart of gold who never met a stranger. Shawn was an amazing father who took pride in being a dad. He was the “go-to person” in the family and he thrived on taking care and protecting his family. Shawn used every opportunity he had to be a blessing to his family and friends to express how much he loved and cared about them.  Shawn had a smile that was unforgettable, and his laughter was so sincere that he would make the entire room light up in laughter. Shawn was the only boy and his sisters looked to him for guidance and wisdom.

Shawn always had a good conversation and he had great words of comfort and the ability to uplift anyone. Shawn was a great father, awesome brother, loving companion and a blessing to so many others that loved and cared about him.

Shawn leaves to cherish his memories – his children, Lanika Swain, Kalainty Flores, Kayishia Flores, Alejandro Montanez, Shania Flores, Shainique Flores, Shawnta Flores, Shawnta Flores, Jr. (SJ) and Julianique Cisero (who he raised as his own). Father, David Fuller, siblings, Loretta Hewitt (Brian), Davida Burton (Freddie), Natasha Johnson (Alando); grandchildren; Laniya, Tamaya, Dai’King, Cerenity, Thomas, Lyric and Aubree, grandmother, Ruthie Fuller. Shawn also leaves behind his companion, Tykeria “Tiki” Walden, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, so many wonderful friends and other relatives.

Shawn will truly be missed by so many.
