Ms. Sheriko Hiroko Johnson, known by all of her friends and co-workers as (Riko).
She was born on March 8, 1986, to Mr. Leroy and Mrs. Gertie Johnson in Jacksonville, Florida
Sheriko was dedicated to Christ at an early age once she came in knowledge of Christ as her personal savior. She joined Roberts Mount Pisgah A.M.E. church, Atlantic Beach, Florida. Sheriko dedicated her life to Christ under the direction and leadership of Rev. Annette Colston and served in the church until she moved to Fort Myers, Florida where God called her home.
Sheriko graduated from Fletcher Senior High School in Neptune Beach, Florida, Class of 2005. She furthered her education, graduating from Florida Metropolitan University in Jacksonville, Florida, as a massage therapist.
Sheriko was employed by several businesses of the city. Most recently, she was employed with Pet Angel in Fort Myers, Florida, where she loved her job.
She departed this life on Saturday, October 12, 2024, after a brief illness at HCA Hospital Ocala, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Torrance Tremayne and Aron Leroy; grandma, Luvenia McRae; granddad, James McRae; grandma, Pastor Ruby N. Lowe, godma, Gloria Young.
She leaves to cherish her memories a loving father and mother, Mr. Leroy Johnson and Mrs. Gertie M. Johnson of Jacksonville, Florida; brother, Derrick Devale Douglas (Maxine) of Laurinburg, NC; sister-in-law, Shatahnya of Jacksonville, FL; three aunts, Irene Williams (Larry) of Bennettsville, SC., Joanne Batts of PA; four uncles, James Batts (Linda) of Wilmington, NC., Herbert Batts (Charlene) of Temple Hills, MD, Larry Atkinson and Michael Ellison of Wilmington, NC.; a special god daddy, Derwin Sparkling; godmother, Donna Holley.
Six nephews; one niece; two goddaughters, Olevia and Ahmah’zi; one god-brother, Alexander Austin of CA; one god-sister, Saniya Roby of Texas.
A very close school friend from elementary through high school, Latosha Marion; a host of cousins, other relatives and many friends.
