Sylvia Elvira Gailyard-Harley

Sylvia Elvira Harley was born August 10, 1960 in Jacksonville Florida. She attended Duval County Public Schools and graduated from William M. Raines. She retired from the United States Postal Service after 25 years and was an active church member of Jesus Christ Community Baptist church until her health began to decline.

Sylvia was preceded in death by her parents, Stepney and Izebell Gailyard and two brothers, Emmanuel Gailyard and Isaiah Gailyard.

Sylvia leaves to cherish her memories four children, Benisha Gilmore, Benny Lee Lundy, Derrick Harley and Darius Harley; One granddaughter, Mikayla Brown; Ten siblings, Ester Filmore (David), Rev. Samuel E. Gailyard (Jacqueline), Spencer Gailyard, Stanley Gailyard, Sheila Lester (Elder Reginald), Sherald Gailyard, Stacey Gailyard (Greshon), Sidney Gailyard Sr, Solomon Gailyard (Linda), and Simon Gailyard; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and sorrowing friends.
