Yolanda Elaine Joshua-Carter was born July 14, 1968 in Jacksonville, Florida to Delores Williams & Alphonso Joshua. She attended Andrew Jackson High School where she participated in the marching band and chorus, graduating in the class of 1987. As an adolescent, Yolanda served faithfully with her angelic voice in Spiritual Encounters and in the choir at First Baptist Church of Oakland. She continued that love for music while serving the Lord at the Potter’s House International Ministries.
Yolanda left many impressions on the younger generation. She started working in the field of education as a Dean and Special Needs Assistant at Fort Caroline Middle School. Her career transitioned into Family Service as a Family Service Worker where she changed the lives of many teen mothers providing assistance and support without judgement. Teaching and aiding led her into entrepreneurship as a home child care provider where love was unselfishly displayed.
